Payroll Assistant

  • £27,000 per annum

An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to join an award winning company based in Milton Keynes. Established in early 2000 they have grown to become a market leader in their sector with a huge presence UK wide.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within a well-established and friendly team. Along with a starting salary of up to £27,000 per annum with a pay review after successful completion of probation, you will also benefit from a casual dress code in the office, a company pension, and free onsite parking.

As Payroll Assistant, an over of your responsibilities below:

  • Verifying and updating new employee benefits in the system.
  • Completing induction processes on system.
  • Processing absences with accurate categorisation.
  • Closing absences in the system as needed.
  • Following up with managers to ensure all absence-related tasks are accurately completed.
  • Confirming all salary change documentation is complete, signed, and updated in Cascade in time for payroll processing.
  • Reminding managers about any missing documents.
  • Calculating pro-rata payments as necessary.
  • Assisting with the correct entry of overtime hours into System.
  • Ensuring overtime approvals are obtained in time for payroll.
  • Generating and analysing reports after payroll processing.
  • Providing pertinent information to key stakeholders as needed.
